Threads of Creativity is back this fall
Two special Tuesday workshops at the Centre, 4:00 to 6:00 PM: Orange Shirt Day Buttons on September 29 and Cultivating Community on October 20. Free, with all materials provided.
Threads of Creativity is back this fall with two special Tuesday workshops at KNCLN, part of our Life Long Care programming.
On September 29, join us for Orange Shirt Day Buttons. This is an open, all-ages activity where community members can make a button to wear on September 30 in honour of the children who were taken to residential schools and the Survivors who carry those stories home.
Then on October 20, we’ll be joined by Artists-in-Residence Jill Glatt and Géorgie Gagné for Cultivating Community, a hands-on sewing workshop for teens and adults.
Both workshops run from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at 218 Concession Street. Materials are provided and there is no cost to participate.
